Transit
Public transit includes transportation services
primarily provided by municipalities for the general public and for people
with specialized transportation needs. Information on schedules, fares
and other details are provided by each of the municipal transit systems
.
In Mississauga and Brampton, we have buses. You will need the exact cash
($2.00) fare when you get on the bus. You only have to pay once inside
of each city to use the service for one trip. If you need to change buses,
you can ask the driver to five you a "transfer". This piece
of paper will tell the driver of the next bus that you already paid your
fare. Weekly and monthly passed, as well as pr-purchased bus tickets offer
travel on the buses at a slight discount. Transit Terminal next to the
Square One Mall, Mississauga bus tickets ($16/ten) and passes($17/week
can be purchased).
We also have a regional railway service called the GO Train. This service
runs between Hamilton, Mississauga, Toronto and Oshawa. You can buy tickets
for these trains at their stations.
